Privacy policy
This website is deliberately kept lean: there are no contact forms, no user accounts and no payment processing on the site itself. Purchases and downloads are handled by external providers. Accordingly, only a small amount of personal data is processed here.

2. Hosting
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, USA) via the “Cloudflare Pages” service. When you visit the site, Cloudflare processes technically necessary access data (including IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) in order to deliver the site and ensure its security and stability. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure, efficient operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Since data may be transferred to the USA, this is based on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Details: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
3. Server log files
The access data mentioned above is stored in server log files and used exclusively for technical operation. I do not combine it with other data or identify individual persons.
4. Fonts
The fonts used on this site are served locally from this site’s own server. No connection is made to third-party servers (such as Google Fonts), and your IP address is not passed on to third parties for this purpose.
5. Amazon Associates programme
I take part in the Amazon Associates programme and link to individual products with affiliate links. If you click such a link, Amazon may use cookies to recognise that you came from this site in order to attribute a commission to me. Amazon is responsible for this processing. The legal basis for including these links is my legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For details, see Amazon’s privacy notice.
6. Sales and downloads via Gumroad
Purchases of the e-book and free downloads (templates and lists) are handled by Gumroad, Inc. (USA). If you go there and enter your data (e.g. email address, payment details), Gumroad processes it under its own responsibility as an independent controller. Gumroad’s privacy policy applies: gumroad.com/privacy.
7. YouTube videos
Videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.) are embedded on this site in privacy-enhanced mode (domain youtube-nocookie.com). In this mode, YouTube only sets cookies once you actively start a video. When you start a video, data may be transferred to Google. Google is responsible for this; its privacy policy applies.
8. Audience measurement
For anonymous audience measurement I use Cloudflare Web Analytics. This service works without cookies and does not create cross-device profiles; no personal data about individual visitors is stored. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
9. Newsletter and free downloads
If you sign up for the free templates and my newsletter, I process your email address and, for evidence purposes, the time of your sign-up. Emails are sent via EmailOctopus (EmailOctopus Ltd., United Kingdom). The European Commission has issued an adequacy decision for the United Kingdom, so the transfer is permissible under data protection law. Sign-up uses a double opt-in procedure: you first receive a confirmation email and are only added to the list after clicking the confirmation link. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future — via the unsubscribe link in every email. EmailOctopus’s privacy policy also applies.
10. Contact by email
If you send me an email, I process your details in order to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed.
11. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, as well as the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
